Episode: FINALE

Evo Confession

After a small hiatus during some lacklustre episodes we find ourselves at a finale with 6 still in the game! Cirie and Aubry are the only players without an idol or advantage, that will be tough to circumvent. Craig, Phoebe and I take a look at the Survivor landscape before the FINALE… Enjoy!

Evo’s Final 3 – Sarah, Culpepper and Troyzan. Been on this since Episode 3. Edit is screaming this. Of late we have seen Sarah as a strategist and Culpepper as a fighter who is losing love from his fellow contestants. Troyzan is the GOAT.

Cirie – I love Cirie. Her balance beam HERO moment was amazing. I would be ecstatic to see her win, but there’s is more chance of Probst wearing a mankini to the final tribal than her winning. Biggest threat to win from a social and emotional stand point.

Aubry – Edit hasn’t been great. Always on the outs with the vote, can’t see her getting to the end, might be an easy out when everyone is stressing about just getting to that final 4 spot. She also doesn’t have an idol or advantage.

Tai – Secretly hope he goes full buddha mode and wins every immunity from here on out…. but… I can see him making an emotional mistake. Brad has threatened in confessionals to ditch him when needed. Ominous. Two idols guarantees this beautiful human a top 4 spot… unless he gets a bit freaky with his idol plays.

Troyzan – Has done well to lay low, having said that what has he really offered? Can’t win, no combination results in him taking it out.

Culpepper – Dominated the pre-merge, since then has been a target for all. This can work in his favour but the edit suggest’s he is rubbing people up the wrong way. Alpha males winning Survivor… doesn’t happen often. Nice growth throughout, he will WWMD his way to a runner up spot.

Sarah – Well well well, here we are. Don’t think it has been an amazing effort and for the life of me I can’t believe she hasn’t been ousted due to her plays so far… however, the legacy advantage means she is safe until the 5. The edit has been screaming to us her win. Crying over the Zeke/Varner blow up. Spotting advantages others couldn’t see. Outsmarting Cirie for Probst sake! Who does that? Criminal not Cop line. Will be staggered if she doesn’t win purely on edit.

LAST THING – A season that deserves an amazing finale. Oh how I wish Tony and Sandra stuck together, could easily be sitting at the end together right now. Culpepper and Sarah have shown the most growth since previous seasons, that’s why I believe that’s our top 2.

Craig Confession

Can I just say, I am loving one of the biggest Game Changers this season – TRIBAL! The scrambling and whispering, STANDING UP AND MOVING, it’s how a tribal should be and I am so happy it now looks like it will become another evolution of the game.

2nd, in her 4 seasons Cirie has never slipped up before, and it was “Not reading the fine print” Why didn’t she? UM BECAUSE she was too busy setting up some amazing moves. Still think she screwed up? Ok, because after all that to still walk away with no votes against her…………..MMMhmmmmm

Why did Sarah take out Michaela? Well most likely to take out Ciries right hand woman and “Force” her move of taking her to the end (if Sarah knew) and also saving Tai and remaining in his good books.

What is with Cirie’s random votes? She sets up the vote, and then doesn’t vote with her voting bloc. It seems to work as she never manages to get a vote and ever really seems to have the target on her. Is that the plan? To look as if you don’t know what is going on? Or simply to not be viewed as voting out the jury?

I know that EVO disagrees with me on this as his Final 3 are Troyzan, Culpepper and Sarah, due to his foreseen edit predictions form EP 3 onwards. But I disagree. Never trust the edit, and this season the edit has been TOO obvious, so in my opinion they are setting it up so the audience believe they know what is going on and then deliver some season final SHOCKERS. Imaging the uproar when Culpepper and Sarah are taken out at 5th and 4th. I still believe that Sarah is taken out due to her extensive resume, however, with Ciries confessional last season that the Jury would be bitter towards her makes me pause.

Craig’s Final 3 – Tai, Cirie and Aubry. Don’t ask me the mathematics. But that’s what I think. Maybe it’s my little go against the grain of the majority hahahahahaahahhhah

Troyzan – NO. weather he makes the end or not, there will be nothing for him but his own ability to state he can make 39 days……..somehow

Tai – With 2 idols under his belt, you can say that he should slip into the final 4 without worry. But I am unsure what his social moves have been to allow him the votes at the end to take the game.

Aubry – A constant player at the bottom, not really pissed off the Jury, can simply state she had no choice being on the bottom. Contender? Maybe. Could be a 2 time runner up.

Culpepper – Ok I admit he has the potential. People on the jury that would vote for him. It comes down to brads final speech in my books. He has a resume at simply dodging the vote when he has been a target for a long time. I believe it would work in Brads favour to allow Troyzan to be voted out without a hand in it as this would allow Troyzan to vote for him to win.

Sarah – Has played a brilliant game for a viewer perspective, and also as a player. However I do sit here and think of the other player’s perception on her. Are they going to reward a Game Changer? Or be bitter over her moves? Did we see some foreshadow with this last episode from Andrea stating “there are people here that be your best friend all day and then vote you out” I think it comes down to her speech and convincing the “Bad Taste” jurors to change there mind.

Cirie – What can I say! Final 6 and still not ONE vote against her, never won anything, started playing like a machine from the merge. One mistake was not reading the fine print, however, the outcome made Sarah look even more like a selfish little bitch compared to Cirie, who ended up looking amaze due to still not receiving a vote. I hope hope hope she makes the final 3. I ould LUV to see her final Speech to the Jury. I have my fingers crossed and believe she deserves it.

LAST THING – Question, ummm GAME CHANGERS. Does anyone think there will be one more random GAME CHANGE from Jeff in the last few days? Such as Final 4 face the Jury or a Final 2 not a final 3?

Episode 5: Sugar Wars – The Empire Strikes Back

An uneventful episode where the biggest applause must go to the editors. Due to the dull nature of this one we are going to spend more time going over how the players are fairing after the recap!

MANA

Debbie goes ape shit crazy over WWMD’s leadership. I am completely and utterly confused over this sudden flip out, as is everyone on the island.

debbie mad.png

Tai and Debbie argue over how many real professions she has had

Tai, the only person seemingly waiting to play looks for another idol and snags a clue! He stashes in his shoe and vows to search later. Go you little bald malnourished Buddha of greatness!

tai idol.gif

Give this man a medal!

Craig Confession

DEBBIE BWHAHAHAHHAHAAHAH Omg here comes the Crazy lady. PRAISE JESUS. “I was a gymnast for 10 years”, her push ups, and her demonic face. OMG and then to point out how she thinks Hali sucks. It takes balls to lose your cool in survivor due to the possible repercussions, but God it’s great.

Culpepper. Well well well, is this some of the Dominant Brad taking over as we have seen in his previous game? It does seem like he likes to be in charge and frankly it looks like everyone is simply allowing him to do it, draws the target to his back not theirs.

NUKU

Sandra is painted out to be some superhuman manipulator by eating all of Nuku’s sugar and blaming it on Michaela. All as a ruse to cause disharmony between JT and everyone else. NEWSFLASH he has always on the bottom! The major focus on Sandra’s game can only mean she doesn’t make the merge, giving us all the highlights before her boot.

jt sugar.jpg

JT guarding his sugar

JT knowing he is toast looks for and FINDS the idol! Go JT! He says to the camera that the idol will keep him in the game, let’s hope.

jt.gif

Wise words

TAVUA

At Tavua they just keep rolling along, Sarah blabs on again about being a criminal this time around, so she does what all good criminals would do and tries to team up with another idiot… enter Troyzan!

sarah and troy.jpg

Sarah and Troyzan… The Sandy Bandits

IMMUNITY

Similar to the reward challenge Debbie yaps on for the entire challenge about how awesome she is, this time though she abuses her fellow tribe mates with passive aggressiveness… hang on, what’s the opposite of passive? Let’s just say she is OVERTLY aggressive! Insane.

wookie-mad.gif

Culpepper reflects on his approach to Debbie…

In a tight finish Mana gets over the line first and it’s down to JT and Ozzy to fight it out. Ozzy narrowly defeats JT in the familiar game of catapult a bag into a series of wooden bobo dolls.

PRE TRIBAL

Heading into tribal there isn’t much to think about, and as usual, the non challenge beasts in Sandra and Varner are making all the decisions! It’s either Michaela or JT, more to the matter I can’t see how JT isn’t voted for, it’s all leading up to that one nail biting question… will JT plays his idol?

homer-s-sugar-photo-u1.jpg

JT has his mind solely on the sugar crisis!

TRIBAL

Tribal is about as invigorating as an Enya album, not even Jeff can make this interesting. JT appears to believe that Michaela is going home and everyone bar Aubry appears to know what is going on.

tribal.jpg

Don’t let this faces fool you, they can’t stand Enya

Prompted by Probst (what a great band name that would be?) JT choses… NOT TO PLAY HIS IDOL. Dear Probst he is a goner. The votes are cast, Michaela receives 2, JT gets the majority of 3. Surprisingly, Sandra admits to eating the sugar, will her ego come back to bite her? Sandra struck back this week, not happy with JT’s movement with Brad.

JT BOOT.jpg

Bitter sweet

Hats off to JT for coming back and changing his style of play. Ironically the lack of nous in idol play was his demise again. He will be missed.

LAY OF THE LAND

With 15 Survivors left we take a look at each tribe before the upcoming swap. Which leads to a few interesting question; Will it be two tribes or three? Are they brining back Exile Island and who the hell is this returning player the promo speaks of?

TAVUA – Craig Confession

Another episode where we don’t really see much from Tavua. Why? Well obviously as they keep winning there is more pressing matters of the other tribes scrambling. Personally I am loving Tavua’s winning streak. It keeps my Favs away from the potential chopping block. 5 People who are yet to go to tribal Council by day 15 and they are all in Tavua, so some might say the game hasn’t fully begun for Tavua yet, and that can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. Very little form the Tavua tribe this week as focus was all over Sugagate, but here we go.

Andrea

I haven’t seen much from Andrea, besides an exchange with Troyzan, a narrative confessional and the GASP that Malcom went. That’s the downside of a winning team to the viewers, you don’t get to see them. Performed great in the challenge. Andrea looks to be doing a little bit of going under the radar. I think she is a lot calmer than Caramoan, where early on she started to go all paranoid. Maybe that is to come once she starts having to go to Tribal, or maybe she has learnt from past mistakes. I feel like I am waiting for a Spider to pounce, or the Cat about to swat a play toy.

Troyzan

Still eeehhhhh! But with his Idol Troyzan is going to be set up for a little while at least, well if he is smart enough to use it when required. I don’t however see him pulling a Tai and giving it to someone else. Still on the outs and viewed that way by the rest of his tribe, I believe Sarah is simply using him for his ties on the other tribes for the merge.

Sarah

“This time I am playing like a Criminal” Sarah keeps going on and on about her new “Criminal” way of playing. Is she trying to justify to herself that it’s ok to play dirty? Besides approaching Troyzan to work with him, and pretty much threatening him, Sarah is simply lucky to be on a winning tribe.

sarah control.jpg

Sarah holds her own fate in her shifty criminal like hands

Zeke

Zeke hasn’t required to start hardcore playing yet. Simply laying foundations and getting prepared. Still in a good position as he is not viewed as a threat and there are larger targets around him. I like the position Zeke is in.

Ozzy

Dominating in challenges as expected which is keeping Tavua winning rewards and away from Tribal Council. I still think Ozzy will be gone early Merge and only is around due to his team challenge prowess. His old ally JT is gone, so he will have to re-group his numbers. I think Ozzy’s only option is to be a “Shield” which is obviously not his choice, or team up with the likes of Culpepper to help defend the physical threat aspect.

Cirie

Thank gosh for the winning streak, my Queen is still in the game. It looks like the Ozzy and Cirie past game has dwindled a little, or we simply have not seen it. Cirie is going to be very happy that JT has left the game, however with JT Being the first former Nuku tribe member to go, My Queen still has people left in the game that didn’t want to play with her, lets hope new tribe dynamics helps this, I mean it looks like Debbie would happily come back and work with her. I would love to see some interaction between Sandra and Cirie. Still in hot water, I just hope her luck holds out for at least a few more weeks.

MANA – Evo Confession

Culpepper

WWMD is currently dominating. Winning challenges. Forming strong alliances. In charge of every vote. Give this man his ticket to the final three now. Ride his coat tails people!

Tai

Buffs off to Tai. He is playing hard and as opposed to Tony, trying to keep it under wraps. Can Tai win this season? Probably not unless he gets close enough to go on a challenge run. Likely to make it far if he keeps his hustle up.

Sierra

Safe as houses at current. The swap could mean things get a bit dicey for her as she is in that awkward spot of ‘not doing much, not a threat so let’s throw the votes at her to hurt Brad’s game’.

Hali

Yawn. Watch her ruin someone’s game come merge time.

Debbie

Poor Debbie is struggling mentally out there, her days are numbered if her approach doesn’t change.

debbie nutes.gif

Lobster breeding is very common

NUKU – Evo Confession

Sandra

The highlights reel keeps on keeping on. Now that she has removed the last remaining previous winner in JT (surely a bucket list for her heading in) will she look to take out runner ups? Sandra’s a tough one, her ego is what fuels her game but, after three seasons it is bound to be her dowfnfall. Not many Survivors are allowed to ‘break the fourth wall’ in the final edit, but when Sandra looked at the camera dead in the eye during ‘sugargate’ I felt her days are numbered. Enjoy the ride whilst it lasts viewers.

sandra.jpg

*Cue ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Theme Song

Varner

Has blood on his hands but no one has seen it. Narrating the season and enjoying the big moves like we all are at home. Can he finally make the merge? Will he start playing his game? Let’s hope so.

Michaela

Challenge beast. I don’t think she will like the fact that Sandra played JT off against her with the sugar fiasco and look to be her own person come the swap. She needs to shelve her attitude as even she knows it will lead to a torch snuffing.

Aubry

If anyone needs the tribe swap it is Aubry, she has been on the bottom and out of the loop since day one and needs a fresh start. She’s too smart to not make the most of a second chance. Get moving Aubry!

Goodbye JT…

FINALE RECAP – Boston Strong

What a season! What a final few episodes!

Part 1 – Final 6

Kimmi trying to make a big move and remove Spencer or Jeremy, good on her, what else was she to do?

Spencer won immunity so Jeremy was the target but he didn’t fully believe it.

Wentworth played her idol… Jeremy played his just in case despite believing Kimmi. Only Jeremy and Wentworth had their names put down! All votes cancelled. First time in Survivor history!

0000 kimmi

Who is counting?

As it stands the remaining contestants can only vote for Tash, Keith or Kimmi. Even split of votes for Tash and Kimmi.

Jeff explains that if it was to happen again it would go to rocks BUT here’s the catch… due to Survivor tiebreaker rules Tash and Kimmi become immune joining Went, Jeremy and Spencer as safe. Resulting in Keith going home as he would be the only one left to draw rocks!

No brainer yes? Nup. Keith suggests the unthinkable for Kimmi to stay and him leave! Hero status rising, foolish move status exceeding.

Alas, Wentworth needs Keith so she opts to boot Kimmi. Talk about a roller coaster.

Part 2 – Final 5

It is pretty simple now, out of Keith and Wentworth they must win immunity. Keith goes close but Kelley takes it out. Keith may as well pack his bags.

Jeremy is on high alert and creates a back up plan. Remove Spencer. Kudos to Jeremy, never get comfortable. Keith appears to be one board.

Hang on! Wentworth has a plan, seeing as all idols have been different she makes one of the best fake idols you will ever see and gives it to Keith, telling him to play it at tribal and show it off when needed.

0000 kelly

Don’t give it to Keith!

Tribal rolls around and it is incredibly frustrating. All Keith has to do to stay is whip out that fake idol, throw it around his neck and their would have been at least an 80% chance that Jeremy or Tash would have got flustered and voted for Spencer.

What does Keith do… he holds onto it! Oh my to-tos! Keith goes home. Kelley can’t believe it. If she was smart she should have kept it and played it on Keith herself, but no, she trusted the guy who despite his loveliness consistently has brain fades when it matters most.

Part 3 – Final 4

The mission for a the final challenge is simple. For the alliance of three, beat Kelley, for Kelley, beat everyone.

The final immunity is a terrific one, it is fair and anyone can win. It is the whirly ball thingy-ma-jig. You watch a ball thread through a spiral and wait for it to come out of one of two exits, after a certain time you throw in another ball.

Unfortunately for Wentworth she stumbles at the last hurdle. It comes down to Jeremy and Spencer, the stakes are high as I am sure Wentworth could argue they have just as good as chance as her to win.

Spencer drops his balls in a bit too close for comfort and it ultimately costs him. Jeremy wins his first immunity of the season… at the perfect time!

Off to tribal. Wentworth throws up the boot Spencer motion, Tash as she has done all season just sits their hoping it is ‘anyone but me’. Spencer then forgets he is on Survivor SECOND CHANCE and reverts back to the same arrogant twerp most viewers and contestants despised. In a few breaths he belittles Wentworth and then threatens Jeremy. If he votes Spencer out he will vote for Kelley to win. Jeremy plays it cool and doesn’t buy into the plea.

000 karma spence

Karma Bus coming Spencer’s way?

Votes roll around. Wentworth goes home, oh so close, what a terrific season by her! Her main flaw was not aligning with the power players early. No reason she couldn’t have been in Tash’s spot, but she sided with Ciera, massive error.

Part 4 – The Final Tribal Council

Lie, Cheat and Steal

“Lie, Cheat and Steal” — Ciera Eastin addresses Jeremy Collins, Tasha Fox and Spencer Bledsoe at Tribal Council during the two-hour season finale of SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Dec. 16 (8:00-10:00PM, ET/PT), followed by the one-hour live reunion show hosted by Jeff Probst (10:00-11:00PM, live ET/delayed PT), on the CBS Television Network. Photo: Screen Grab/CBS ©2015 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

I will say one thing, this wasn’t a terrific tribal end to an amazing season, but this was probably because everyone had played before and their seemed to be a mutual respect for the majority of moves.

The highlights included:

One of the most arrogant players in Savage calling Jeremy and Spencer arrogant! Oh the irony. Take the beanie off and sit down.

Abi brought up notes then asked a simple question.

Kass and Spencer continued their distaste for each other, Kass offered a beer-olive branch. What the hell is going on? Someone go for the throat!

Tash doesn’t get to answer many questions, amazingly she was this seasons goat.

Fishbach says a lot of words but it doesn’t really make an impact.

Joe… well he just looked good.

Then the clincher. Jeremy tells everyone about his baby. Boom give that man a cheque.

Going into the vote it is a two horse race but it doesn’t appear like anyone cares about Spencer.

Part 5 – The Winner Revealed

Jeff reads the votes… Jeremy wins in a clean sweep! 10-0-0.

0000 jeremy-tasha-spencer

Yes you silly!

Wow. That was a surprise! Not that Jeremy won, but the fact that no one voted for Spencer or Tash. Spencer feels the pain.

0000 the-moment-his-heart-breaks

Spencers heart breaks when he realises he stuffed it

Why did Jeremy win then? In a year where everyone knew that people would backstab and do whatever they could, Jeremy was one of the very few to work hard on building real relationships with people.

If you look back at any stage he had alliances with: Savage, Joe, Fishbach, Keith, Kimmi, Tash and Spencer. He wasn’t mean or didn’t make promises to Wentworth, Kass, Ciera or Abi.

Take a bow JC.

000 jeremy wins

As for my pre-season predictions I had Tash, Jeremy and Wentworth as Super Chances. Spencer as Half-a-Chance. I’m happy with that.

EPISODE 14 PREVIEW – THE FINAL CURTAIN

TO SAY I AM PRETTY CHUFFED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. My pre game predictions are looking pretty solid! I split them into three categories in relation to their winning chances… No Chance, Half a Chance and Super Chance.

No Chance: Joe, Kass, Kimmi, MonicaAbi, Terry DVytasShirin   1/8 remain

Half a Chance: Savage, Keith, Ciera, Spencer, VarnerWiglesworth, Peih-Gee   2/7 remain

Super Chance: Tash, Fishbach, Jeremy, Kelley Went, Woo   3/5 remain

ep 12 recap jez and spencer

That’s some tart cider…

WHO WINS?

The time has come. The finale is upon us! What a season. Going into the last episode here are some important things to consider:

  • Jeremy and Wentworth both still possess an idol. It must be used by the final 5 tribal council.
  • Keith and Spencer have won the most individual immunity challenges of the remaining contestants.
  • 3 male contestants and 3 female contestants remain.
  • Jeremy, Keith and Kelley and all from the same Season (29). Spencer and Tash both from same Season (28). Kimmi is the only contestant without a fellow Season (2) partner.
  • It has been confirmed we will see a final 3 with 9 jury members.

HOW WILL IT PLAY OUT?

yoda-main

“Difficult to see the future is”

Oh Yoda how right you were. But I will give it a go based on pure gut feel and what the editors have tried to INCEPTION us with in their final cut.

LIKELY BOOT ORDER AND ODDS OF BEING THE SOLE SURVIVOR

6th boot: Kimmi

Odds: 100-1

ep 12 kimmi

Solid effort after 15 years off the island

Kimmi’s edit hasn’t been terrific. She has been portrayed as someone that wants to make a move and has been waiting for the right time. I feel she has waited too long. Why Kimmi before Keith? Well… she rocks the boat more.

5th boot: Keith

Odds: 25-1

ep 12 keith

Love to see Keith again

Funnily enough, just like his first season, after not doing too much other than winning the odd immunity, Keith finds himself in an amazing position to win it all. Will he though? I can’t see it. You can’t sit next to Keith at the end, he is too nice and Survivor juries love an underdog.

4th boot: Kelley Wentworth

Odds: 12-1

ep 12 went

The idol pondering will be crucial to Kelley’s final place

Despite her awesome idol play Kelley finds herself at the bottom of the pecking order and is still viewed by tribe mates as a dangerous player. Not a great position to be in with 6 left. She still has an idol which she must play in the next two tribals. Jury wise she would have Abi and Ciera’s votes, that is probably it. Her only winning combination would be a final 3 sitting next to Kimmi and Tash. It is a long stretch. Glad to see her go the distance this time.

FINAL TRIBAL

3rd place: Tash

ep 12 rec tash

Sandra version 2.0

I haven’t been thrilled with Tash’s game, however she deserves credit for merging between alliances the whole game. She has the ability to side with either alliance group so I can’t see her not making the final 3. From there it will be hard though. Her game hasn’t been amazing and she won’t be sitting next to two goats. The way the edit has been developing I can see her being the one that cops the most flack from the jury.

THE FINAL TWO

ep 12 rec jez spenc 2

Strange bedfellows

Let’s not forget the early bonding session between these two. Jeremy took Spencer under his wing which will lead too…

2nd place: Spencer

ep 12 rec spencer

Two top 4 finishes but still not enough

Good ol’ Spence has grown this season. Commonly known in our household as the ‘robot who discovered he had feelings’. Any other season I could see him winning. He has survived certain elimination early days and found himself in a fantastic position through immunity wins and strategic decisions (namely flipping on Fischbach at a crucial time). However… his social ineptness means that he comes across as fake. He rates his gameplay too, even if he didn’t do much (he claimed he ousted Joe, that it was his decision… ummmmmmmmmm… okay). Only one man stands in his way…

THE SOLE SURVIVOR

Winner: Jeremy

ep 9 recap jeremy

Laughing all the way to the bank!

Where do I start? I will start with the edit. Tears for his wife. Playing for his family. Keeping his baby a secret. Comments such as “he can have second place”. If that doesn’t scream final 3 I don’t know what does.

Jeremy’s strategy will be admired by the jury, ensuring he had shields in Savage and Joe, plus those he stayed loyal too in Spencer and Fishbach. Another fun fact, he hasn’t had a single vote cast against him! He has done a remarkable job of flying under the radar whilst at the same time making moves to oust people.

Let’s be honest his early game was well thought out and his idol finds were due to hard work. He has known when to lay low and when to make moves. Have a feeling he will pull out his A game in the final 3 votes.

What separates him from Spencer? Jury management and personality:

Kass – Hates Spencer (tick Jeremy)

Savage – Apart of original 3 of Joe and Jeremy, plus lets face it, Savage favours alpha males. Not to mention Spencer had a hand in booting him. (tick Jeremy)

Joe – Early bonds will sway him towards JC (tick Jeremy)

Fishbach – Kept alive by Jeremy and ousted by Spencer (tick Jeremy)

Kimmi – Sided with JC for the majority of the game (tick Jeremy)

5 votes is all it takes.

Happy to be wrong! Look forward to recapping the finale after this weeks installment.

EPISODES 12 & 13 DOUBLE WHAMMY RECAP!

THE HOME STRETCH! Two predictable boots set up an all star finish.

ep 12 kiss

Joe and his Dad don’t hold back!

EPISODE 12 – The Long Kiss Goodnight

Disturbing. Cruel Intentions type disturbing. The major takeaway from Episode 12 was that the family visit rolled around. There were emotional highs; Jeremy finding out Val was having a baby boy and emotional lows; Joe’s Dad kissing him with an open mouth every 5 seconds.

Cutting to the chase! Keith outlasted Joe in the ever important immunity challenge (shortly before Joe collapsed in exhaustion) and he was snuffed at tribal council.

ep 11 vo_joe

Lights out.

Joe is to be commended this season. Going out at 8th was a terrific effort considering the target on his back. I was disappointed he didn’t try and make a fake idol again, he might have got away with it this time.

EPISODE 13 – How To Train Your Dragon

This one was a testament to the editors, they actually made us think someone other than Abi was going home for 48 minutes.

The short of it was that Keith one award and took Wentworth and Spencer on reward… I thought it made sense, Tash did not agree.

After trailing Jeremy in immunity Spencer smashed through the final puzzle to win another immunity challenge and a easy ride at tribal… not before some all familiar pumping up of his own tires though.

Tash or Abi? What about Keith? Wentworth? Jeremy? Abi… really?!

abi vote out

No more fire for the Brazilian Dragon

So Abi got to 7th… Not as good as her first effort on Season 25. Entertaining and deliciously mean, now it is Tash’s turn to take that mantle.

PREDICTION CENTRAL

Here are my pre game predictions. I split them into three categories in relation to their winning chances… No Chance, Half a Chance and Super Chance. Let’s see how it is looking:

No Chance: Joe, Kass, Kimmi, Monica, Abi, Terry DVytasShirin   0/8 remain

Half a Chance: Savage, Keith, Ciera, Spencer, VarnerWiglesworth, Peih-Gee   2/7 remain

Super Chance: Tash, Fishbach, Jeremy, Kelley Went, Woo   3/5 remain

EPISODE 4 Preview – What’s the Beef?

MOO! I heard it through the bovine!

Last week rat was on the menu… beef sounds much more appealing. Tasty episode on the cards.

Riddle me this

Riddle me this

Who could utter this tag line?

You put my name down twice?

You put my name down twice? Abi and Woo don’t see eye to eye…

Sounds like the Brazilian Dragon could be perplexed this week.

SNEAK PEEK

The stakes are raising and Angkor are looking desperate!

http://www.9jumpin.com.au/show/survivor/videos/4541595109001/

WHAT IS LIKELY TO HAPPEN?

One thing is for sure, the tribe swap will be fantastic news for some and terrible news for others. Other likely things we could see could include:

  • The reward challenge looks brutal, energy might be better saved for immunity
  • Abi will likely have a hand in whoever goes home… even if Angkor dodge tribal!
  • Jeremy will make a decision over whether he keeps his idol a secret or not
  • Spencer will do his best Hugh Grant impression and bumble his way through talking to his female tribe mates
  • Immunity will be decided by a puzzle again
  • Tribal will get nasty regardless of the tribe, a number of players haven’t experienced it yet
  • Woo will bring his A game!

WHO GOES?

To narrow down who goes let’s take a look who has the most power first… then look at how tribal may play out.

POWER RANKINGS – A sliding scale of ‘In the best position’ to ‘in danger’

Dem Animals

Angkor

  1. Abi – No chance of going home and is the vital swing vote
  2. Tash – Not as big a threat as Savage or Woo, flying under radar
  3. Savage – On the right side of the numbers
  4. Woo – More appealing and trustworthy than Varner
  5. Varner – In deep. Dodge a bullet last week

Bayon

  1. Jeremy – Step ahead socially and has the idol as insurance
  2. Spencer – The bonding session makes him Jeremy’s right hand man, safe as houses now
  3. Kimmi – Persona non grata
  4. Wiglesworth – Laying low
  5. Monica – Persona non grata II
  6. Fishbach – Somehow has been painted as the least trustworthy

Ta Keo

  1. Kelley Went – Not a physical threat, pleasant and has that idol
  2. Terry – Loved by all and old enough to not be seen as dangerous as Joe
